Good advice Linda; back to basics to find the core connection between you and the work. Good to remind ourselves once in a while why we do what we do. Thanks for dropping by and making a contribution. You're always welcome.

Funnily enough, I've just been coaching someone and asking exactly the above questions in relation to their CV "achievements". Or rather, strategically worded descriptions of what they did rather than what difference they made (what I call "process" statements). A good tip also is to tap into what excites you about the sector/field you are in. What got you interested in the first place - why were you motivated to apply? If you can't find anything, maybe you are in the wrong job/sector! By drilling down, you may just hit a gem of a story/anecdote which you can use to let Head-Hunters and interviewers undestand your passion and drive for the impact. all the best, Linda
