Paul Rutherford has spent 25 years in marketing, sales, business development and general management across a wide range of organisation.

He served his apprenticeship in communication agencies, creating through-the-line campaigns for Tech and Business Service blue-chips.

He moved Client-side in 1992, becoming EMEA Communications Director then General Manager, UK Corporate Sales for Xerox, followed by EMEA VP Systems Marketing at IBM. Paul was subsequently Chief Marketing Officer for VC-backed Clearswift, the global leader in email security, then CEO/GM for several technology start-ups and turn-arounds.

During his career, Paul has built and developed teams of all types and sizes, from two people in one office to 150 staff across 16 countries.

Today, he is main board director of EMEA Executive Search firm Beaumont Karlson and heads its Go-To-Market practice, helping to solve marketing, sales, channel and business development problems.
